Terms & Conditions For Our Online Shop

Liquor License​

It’s illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. It’s also illegal for you to buy alcohol if you’re under the age of 18, even if you’re buying as a gift for someone else.

It’s illegal for you to falsely declare your age if you are under the age of 18 in order to buy alcohol from us. In accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 this is an offence liable on conviction to a fine of up to $2,000.

Only persons aged 18 years and older are able to sign and receive orders from us. This is in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. If you’re lucky enough to look under the age of 25 the courier will ask to see valid ID. If the receiver is under the age of 18 or does not have valid ID the parcel will be returned to the depot for further instruction.

By submitting an order with us and agreeing to the Terms & Conditions you’re confirming that you (the buyer) and the receiver is aged 18 years or older and legally allowed to buy alcohol in New Zealand.

Return Policy​

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@mtrosalodge.co.nz. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:
55E Gibbston Back Road, Queenstown, OTA, 9371, New Zealand.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not New Zealand, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

Damanges and Issues​

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.


Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

International Orders​

International orders can be placed through our e-cellar door on Wine Collective Direct. Wine Collective rates include all freight and taxes from our door to yours.

Privacy

When you make a purchase with us, we collect certain personal information from you. By making a purchase you consent to your personal information being collected by us and for us to use that information in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy. Access to, and correction or deletion of, the personal information we collect from you is dealt with in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
